Matt Parkinson has returned to Durham on loan from Lancashire.
The spinner will initially head to Chester-le-Street on a one-match loan ahead of their clash with Sussex, which is scheduled begin on September 3.
Parkinson has already made five first-class appearances for Durham this season, taking 11 wickets at 41.
The 26-year-old has only featured once for Lancashire in the County Championship in 2023, picking up a second-innings five-for against Surrey in the season opener, and was restricted to six outings in the T20 Blast.

He will leave the club at the end of the season after signing a three-year contract with Kent.
Parkinson is one a number of spinners drafted in by Durham this season as they attempt to plug a gap in their bowling attack.
Todd Murphy was initially lined up as an overseas signing before being replaced by compatriot Matthew Kuhnemann. Injury curtailed the latter's stint after just three matches, with Ajaz Patel subsequently brought in for three matches.
Durham currently sit top of Division Two, with a 54-point cushion over third-placed Glamorgan.
