Pucovski will be available for the first five matches of the 2024 County Championship as cover for Wiaan Mulder
Australia international Will Pucovski will represent Leicestershire during a short red-ball stint in county cricket.
The 25-year-old will be available for the first five matches of their County Championship campaign as cover for Wiaan Mulder, who will remain in South Africa for the conclusion of the domestic season. The CSA T20 Challenge is scheduled to finish on April 28.
He will be joined in the Leicestershire squad by fellow Australian and Victoria teammate Peter Handscomb, who committed to another two years at Grace Road last September.

Pucovski, who bats at No.3 for Victoria, has scored 2,197 runs at 43.94, including six centuries and nine half-centuries, in 34 first-class appearances.
He made his Test debut against India in July 2021, scoring a half-century in his first innings, but is yet to make his second appearance for Australia, with his career interrupted by various injuries, most notably multiple concussions.
On joining Leicestershire, Pucovski said: "I'm super excited. Talking to Pete [Handscomb], he couldn't speak more highly about the environment and club's group of players and staff. I can't wait to get over there and be part of a successful start to the season."
Director of cricket, Claude Henderson, added: "We are really pleased to have secured Will's signature. He has impressed for a while in the longer format, and he will give our batting lineup a real boost at the start of the summer."
