Leicestershire have signed Somerset allrounder Ben Green on a short-term loan.
He will be available for the next three rounds of the County Championship and will strengthen their bowling attack, with Josh Hull, Roman Walker, Chris Wright, Rehan Ahmed and Wiaan Mulder all absent.
The 26-year-old has picked up 10 wickets in 15 first-class appearances for Somerset and has struggled to nail down a spot in their Championship XI since making his red-ball debut in 2018.

However, he had a productive season for the second XI in 2023, not only taking 11 wickets but also scoring 478 runs in five matches.
Leicestershire's director of cricket, Claude Henderson, said: "We're very excited to welcome Ben into our squad for the next month. Ben's abilities with bat and ball, alongside his leadership experience, will be extremely beneficial to our squad and we're looking forward to him contributing to our team in the coming weeks."
"It's a long season and we have a squad all competing for first XI selection," added Somerset director of cricket, Andy Hurry.
"That means that not everyone can get as much first XI game time as they or we would like at any one time. It's important for as many of our players as possible to be playing competitive cricket at the highest level available, and we feel that this opportunity best meets all parties' interests and will benefit Ben and the club."
