Glamorgan have signed Hampshire seamer Brad Wheal on a short-term loan.
The 27-year-old Scotland international will go straight into the squad for their County Championship meeting with Northamptonshire.
His loan will be assessed on a game-by-game basis.
Glamorgan's bowling attack has been decimated by injuries, with Harry Padmore (thumb), Timm van der Gugten (calf) and Jamie McIlroy (shoulder) all currently on the sidelines.
They had previously brought in Warwickshire bowler Craig Miles on a month-long loan but he has already returned to the Midlands after a single outing against Middlesex.

Speaking to The Cricketer, head coach Grant Bradburn provided an update on Glamorgan’s injury situtation: "We were without Jamie throughout the [Derbyshire] match and that probably cost us. Jamie is a very miserly bowler, swings it nicely and with the crossbreeze he would have been a big asset in taking 20 wickets. We obviously miss him.
"He is obviously pretty sore and seemingly an innocuous dive on the boundary was a bit more than that obviously and he was in a lot of discomfort over the four days. We'll trust in our medical team to give us that information and reassess where he is at.
"We're certainly hopeful that he will be part of our attack in the near future and we certainly missed his skills.
"Timm is a little way off, he's got a significant injury and it is yet to be seen (if he plays again in this red-ball block) and won't be available over the next week."
In Wheal, they've acquired a right-arm seamer with 109 wickets at 33.65 in 46 first-class appearances.
However, he hasn't featured in the format since September 2022, with injuries derailing his 2023 season.
"Brad Wheal adds extra pace, bounce and swing, which will compliment our attack nicely. Having coached him previously with Scotland, Toby Bailey and I are confident Brad will enjoy and add huge value to our environment," Bradburn said.
Wheal added: "It's an honour to have the opportunity to play for such a great county, and I'm looking forward to contributing to the team's success. I'll be doing everything I can to make a positive impact and help get an important win."
