COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISION TWO ROUNDUP: Northamptonshire got closest to forcing a result from the three matches that went to a final day but were held up by Josh Bohannon's 14th first-class century
Bristol (day four of four): Gloucestershire 546, Glamorgan 385 & 288-4 - Match Drawn
Gloucestershire's long wait for a home win in the County Championship continued as Colin Ingram led Glamorgan to a comfortable draw on the final day of the Division Two match at the Seat Unique Stadium.
Beginning the day on 106 for no wicket in their second innings, trailing by 55 runs, the visitors slipped to 122 for 3 in the opening half hour, but had reached 288 for 4, a lead of 127, when rain ended play at 4.20pm. First innings centurion Ingram made an unbeaten 77, off 162 balls, with 9 fours, while Kiran Carlson contributed 49.
Matt Taylor struck twice early on for Gloucestershire, but from then on, it was an all too familiar tale for the hosts, struggling to take wickets on a placid last-day pitch. They took 15 points from the game to Glamorgan's 13 and have still not won a Championship game at Bristol since September 2022.

Old Trafford (day four of four): Northamptonshire 496, Lancashire 228 & 351-9 - Match drawn
Josh Bohannon's 14th first-class century came to Lancashire's rescue as this absorbing County Championship Division Two match with Northamptonshire ended in a draw.
A career-best 7 for 119 from a marathon 57 overs and career-best match figures of 11 for 153 by the on-loan Calvin Harrison looked at times to be propelling Northamptonshire to a first win in 26 years at Old Trafford.
But Bohannon's seven hour plus innings of 155 allied to a half century from Marcus Harris led some stern resistance from the hosts who started the morning on 126 for 2 and fought their way through the day to reach 351 for 9 by the time the players shook hands at 5.40pm with five overs left and Lancashire 83 runs ahead.

Leicester (day four of four): Leicestershire 484 & 357-9 dec, Derbyshire 393 & 305-4 - Match drawn
Maximum bonus points was enough to keep Leicestershire at the top of the early Division Two table after their County Championship match against neighbours Derbyshire ended in the draw that had looked nailed-on throughout the final day, despite visiting captain Wayne Madsen inevitably making runs.
Out for 96, 41-year-old Madsen missed out on notching his seventh century in this fixture. Nonetheless, his record in 26 first-class matches against Leicestershire stands at 2,150 runs at an average of 63.23.
The home side, leading by 382 overnight, batted on for a further eight overs in their second innings before declaring nine wickets down to set Derbyshire an unlikely target of 449 from a minimum 86 overs. They were 305 for 4 with a possible six more overs remaining when the sides shook hands on a draw.
