Fixture: Gloucestershire v Hampshire
Venue: Cheltenham College, Cheltenham
Dates: Monday, July 11, 2021 - Wednesday, July 14, 2021
Start time: 11am
What's the lowdown?
One of the stand-out ties of the final round as second plays third in Group Two.
Gloucestershire sit five points behind leaders Somerset, with Hampshire another six back in third.
Ian Harvey's side beat Middlesex last time out but a three-match winless streak, which included defeats to Surrey and Leicestershire, have blighted their campaign.
Hants started like a house on fire but have won once since mid-April and need an about-turn in fortunes to claim a top-two place.
Who's in form?
Gloucestershire have been powered by a united bowling effort, with four bowlers having taken 23 wickets or more.
In the batting department, James Bracey has led the way with 605 runs but there has been a lack of substantial scores with just three centurions across the squad.
None of Hampshire's squad have averaged more than 45 with the bat. Ian Holland requires a return to some of his early-season form, but if Colin de Grandhomme can build on his first-class best score of 174 against Surrey there is still hope they can leave a positive mark on the campaign.
