Miles will be available for Durham's County Championship outings against Glamorgan and Leicestershire, but will continue to represent Birmingham Bears in the T20 Blast
Warwickshire seamer Craig Miles has joined Durham on a two-match loan.
The 28-year-old will be available for Durham's upcoming County Championship clashes with Glamorgan, which starts on June 11, and Leicestershire (June 25), but will continue to represent Birmingham Bears in the T20 Blast.
Miles has played 96 first-class matches since making his debut in 2011, picking up 334 wickets at 27.91.
He picked up 47 wickets when Warwickshire won the County Championship in 2021 but is yet to feature in red-ball cricket this season, slipping behind the likes of Chris Rushworth, Hassan Ali and Chris Woakes in the pecking order.
At Durham, he will be attempting to fill the shoes of Matthew Potts, who is on England duty. Potts has picked up 30 wickets in five appearances this season.

Brydon Carse could also be missing from the attack after sustaining a trunk injury against Yorkshire in mid-May. He has not featured in Durham's T20 Blast campaign.
Miles said: "Obviously I want to get into Warwickshire's County Championship side but it's been hard because the guys are doing great stuff. Rushworth is one of the division's leading wicket-takers, Woakes has been available, and with Hassan coming in and Olly [Hannon-Dalby] doing what Olly does it's been difficult to break in.
"I’m looking forward to the loan opportunity, Durham are going well in Division Two but have some injuries and with Potts joining up with England they want someone with a lot of first-class experience to keep their momentum going.
"Hopefully I can put in a couple of good performances and come back to challenge for a place at Warwickshire. The season schedule is tough and I'm sure there will come a time to get back into the red-ball side. I need to be fresh and ready to seize that moment."
Warwickshire head coach, Mark Robinson, added: "This is a good opportunity for Milo to play a couple of red ball games and to bowl for longer spells. Those opportunities have been limited here as several Second XI games have been washed out.
"I'm sure he'll relish the opportunity to play and put some pressure on selection for a first team slot here."
