Best value cricket bat of 2024 is now reduced in end of summer sale

The Cricketer ranked the Kookaburra Stealth as the best value cricket bat of 2024, and it's now been reduced in price by 20%

Looking for a good value bat that is used by heavy hitters in the international game and has been thoroughly tested by our team of cricket journalists and ex-players? We have just the thing for you.

The price of one of our top play-tested bats of the year has dropped in price by 20% in an end-of-season sale. The bargain Kookaburra Stealth 5.1 is now priced at £160, down from £200 and represents one of the best-value professional cricket bats on the market.

In the 2024 test where we ranked the best cricket bats of 2024, Editor Huw Turbervill says the bat has a "sleek design, nice light pick up and creamy middle", while former England international Alex Tudor praised the bat for its good weight and balance of the model.

Journalist Nick Friend, who was able to find the middle, noted it "really pinged".

As a result of our exhaustive testing, in which the only real complaint was from our younger testers who described it as a little heavy, it was rated at 7.1 out of 10, the third-best bat in our roundup and the best of the value options.

The Cricketer verdict was that the Kookaburra Stealth 5.1 is the best-value cricket bat on the market in 2024 and the price has now dropped to make it even more affordable.

The Australian brand says the bat is designed for maximum power as it uses a shorter blade and longer handle design used by many big hitters in the modern game. It is used by England international Ben Foakes.

The bat has proved to be a hit and it is currently out of stock on the Kookaburra website thanks to high demand. You can still pick it up at Pro Direct Cricket, which has cut the price from the £200 RRP to £160 in its end-of-season sale.
