Thunder were bowled out for just 15 by Adelaide Strikers on Friday, the lowest total in men's T20 history
'Don't dwell on it' is the message from Sydney Thunder allrounder Chris Green to his teammates as they look to shake off their record-breaking batting capitulation in the Big Bash.
Thunder were bowled out for just 15 by Adelaide Strikers on Friday, the lowest total in men's T20 history.
No batsman made more than 4, as the innings lasted just 35 balls, with Green and Co bundled out inside the powerplay.
The collapse smashed the previous worst men's T20 score - 21 by Turkey against Czech Republic in 2019 - and was considerably lower than the old record in the Big Bash (57 by Melbourne Renegades against Melbourne Stars in the 2014/15 campaign).

"There is no point kicking the can about it," Green told the Sydney Morning Herald.
"We've got to continue to be positive. It's important that we stick together. Life's not that bad. It's just a loss.
"It was a bit of a crazy night... I think it's important as a group to just see it as a loss and move on.
"It was a crazy scorecard for sure but if we dwell on that loss we can read into it and try and find things that aren't actually happening."

The first chance for Thunder to make amends for their miserable night with the bat against the Strikers will come on Sunday, when they face the Renegades at Marvel Stadium.
"No one was too despondent last night. There's no panic stations or writing on the wall," Green said.
"You need to go into the next game determined to right the wrong. If we go into the next game thinking about what happened out there it’s going to take longer to get out of it."
