Adelaide Strikers take on Hobart Hurricanes in match 30 of the 2022/23 Big Bash, the 12th edition of the tournament.
The game is scheduled to start at 6.45pm local time (8.15am GMT) on Thursday, January 5.
The game will be played in Adelaide at the Adelaide Oval.
These sides only met two days ago, so there is plenty for each to take from that meeting - a fourth consecutive defeat for Adelaide Strikers, a crucial win for Hobart Hurricanes.
Hurricanes romped home by seven wickets in the end on an evening that belatedly saw their stacked batting line-up come to the party. Until then, they had flattered to deceive despite a middle order featuring Matthew Wade, D'Arcy Short and Tim David beneath openers Caleb Jewell and Ben McDermott.
Jewell and McDermott both made fifties in the equivalent meeting at Blundstone Arena on January 2, with David and Short putting the finishing touches to a successful chase of 178, which ought to have been trickier than it ultimately was.
Rashid Khan was unusually expensive for Strikers - he conceded 43 runs in four overs - and the Afghanistan leggie in general has been less potent than in previous Big Bash campaigns.

As in Hobart, much will come down to how Hurricanes fare against Rashid. They played him predominantly off the back foot in their first encounter and found success in that method, hitting towards the shorter square boundaries. The dimensions are similar in Adelaide, so a similar modus operandi is likely there.
Strikers will need to offer more support to Chris Lynn; he made 87 on Monday but otherwise only found limited support from Matt Short and Colin de Grandhomme.
Forecasters are expecting a sunny day, with highs of 24 degrees Celsius.
Zak Crawley will likely make his Big Bash debut; he replaces Shadab Khan in Hobart's squad.
Adelaide Strikers have made several changes to their squad, led by Peter Siddle's absence due to a back problem picked up in the reverse fixture. Matt Short will captain in his place, with Jake Weatherald replacing Henry Hunt at the top of the order after recovering from an abdominal strain. Cameron Boyce is fit after a calf problem.
Adelaide Strikers: Wes Agar, Cameron Boyce, Alex Carey, Harry Conway, Colin de Grandhomme, Ryan Gibson, Travis Head, Adam Hose, Henry Hunt, Thomas Kelly, Rashid Khan, Chris Lynn, Harry Nielsen, Matt Short, Jake Weatherald, Henry Thornton, Peter Siddle, Ben Manenti, Jordan Buckingham (local replacement player)
Hobart Hurricanes: Asif Ali, Faheem Ashraf, Tim David, Nathan Ellis, Caleb Jewell, Shadab Khan, Ben McDermott, Riley Meredith, Mitch Owen, Joel Paris, Wil Parker, D'Arcy Short, Matthew Wade, Billy Stanlake, Paddy Dooley, Chris Tremain, Mac Wright, Zak Crawley (overseas replacement for Shadab Khan), Jimmy Neesham (overseas replacement)
