Brisbane Heat face Melbourne Renegades in the 11th game of the 2021-22 Big Bash.
The game is set for Monday, December 13. The first ball will be bowled at 5:15pm local time (8:15am GMT).
The game will be held at Queensland's Metricon Stadium.
Melbourne Renegades got their BBL11 campaign off to a winning start on December 7, defeating Adelaide Strikers by two runs in a close-fought encounter at the Marvel Stadium. However, in the reverse fixture just 48 hours later, they suffered a convincing 49-run defeat, collapsing from 72 for 2 to 100 all out to suggest their batting - which was so poor last season - remains an issue.
On the bright side, their bowlers have enjoyed a solid start to the tournament, with Kane Richardson and Zahir Khan each picking up five wickets while after a ropey debut, Reece Topley took 3 for 32 in his second outing in red.
Brisbane Heat, meanwhile, are rooted to the bottom of the table after losing both of their opening matches. Against Sydney Thunder, they failed to defend 140 and lost by seven wickets with 17 balls to spare while against Perth Scorchers, Jimmy Pierson's side fell seven runs shy of victory despite a spirited chase.
When these sides met last season, Brisbane Heat won both encounters, winning by five wickets and 26 runs, respectively.

Nic Maddinson is expected to make his debut for the Renegades against Brisbane and with Aaron Finch still sidelined by injury, the skipper's return from international duty will be welcomed by all in red. An aggressive striker of the ball, Maddinson has scored 1,741 runs at a strike rate of 124.53 in the Big Bash to date, including averaging 33.50 for Melbourne Stars last season. Of the other Renegades batters, Mackenzie Harvey's half-century has been the only bright moment.
With the ball, as mentioned Kane Richardson and Zahir Khan hold the key to their side's success, with 10 of Melbourne's 18 wickets between them.
Brisbane Heat will be hoping for a big innings from Chris Lynn. The top-order batter is yet to fire this season, scoring just 36 runs at a strike rate of 90 from two innings. Fortunately, he has scored 380-plus runs - including 11 half-centuries - in each of his past three seasons so a big knock shouldn't be too far away.
Bruce Oxenford and David Taylor are the men in the middle for this one.
Damp conditions are expected on the Gold Coast throughout the day but sunshine is forecast around 6pm.

Brisbane Heat are the narrow favourites to win this match, with Oddschecker offering odds of 19/20. Melbourne Renegades are available at 1/1.
If they can bowl first and restrict the Heat to a sub-140 total, Melbourne Renegades are in with a strong shout. However, if they bat first and post a low target or have to put on a big chase, it's Brisbane's game.
