Neon have burst onto the scene in recent times, with Ian Bell heavily involved at the brand and England Women's leg-spinner Sarah Glenn now also a brand ambassador.
They are making waves, so it was no surprise to see their 2023 product impressing.
In Darren Stevens' words: "A solid bat with nice stickers. Eye-catching."
There remains a school of thought that you'd have to be a talented, confident player to arrive at the crease in a club game with such vibrant colours, but any scepticism might quickly be eradicated by the quality of the blade.
"A seriously good bat," said tester James. "So light and beautiful; it flows so well – it's just very nice."
Georgia Adams concurred and compared it to Jude Bellingham for its up-and-coming-ness. "Trendy," she said, offering eights across the board.
"Very balanced," added tester Archie. "The middle is ridiculous, I can't fault it – the pickup was lovely, I really can't find anything to fault."
At £524.99, it's an expensive piece of willow, but the collective praise is evidence of a high-class bat and a brand that is continuing to make a splash.
