The famous Australian batmakers get Alex Tudor’s seal of approval with the Kookaburra Ghost 3.1. He described it as a “good trustworthy bat” which “will only get better the more you use it”.
It has a clean but not especially eye-catching design, leaning into its name with silvery-white stickers.

The bat received generally favourable reviews from our testers regarding its weight (2lb 7oz) and how it played, with one describing it as “really light” and “whippy”. Nick praised the Ghost’s even pick-up and said it felt “golf swingy in a nice way” while another added: “Nice to hit, not too bottom-heavy, and followed through well, even if you didn’t middle it”.
Huw, however, was after a “hauntingly good” experience but came away a little underwhelmed. He didn’t like it as much as the Kookaburra Stealth 5.1 but deemed it a “decent” bat. “No hand-jangling shocks going through my body, all perfectly reasonable,” he said.
