Across 16 bats by major manufacturers, the Ton Nemesis III was the top of the pile with ‘the sweetest of centres’ for testers who rated the performance highest on the day.
Described by one student as “Very similar feel to the DKP,” but with a more accessible price range at £275.
All the talk though was about the middle of the bat with another student saying “It’s got good feel through the motion of the swing and got the best Middle out of all of them I reckon.”

Meanwhile Editor Huw Turbervill was a big fan: “You could have a ton of fun with this. I’d back myself to get to 3 figures fairly quickly with this ton. Lovely.”
Nick Friend, rarely lost for words, simply said: “Really nice. Good bat. Enjoyed it.”
It wasn’t a total adulation for the Ton with another student tester saying “It’s not got the nicest pick-up,” but added “I will say though it is really pingy.”
