You can't legistlate for the fortunes of tail Enders. Till that Cummins and Lyon stand we had them. The game would have petered out into a draw long ago if we had scored at the Aussie rate. Bazball creates time for a result. With test cricket on its knees in most parts of the world how can this be a bad thing. The inevitable rise of white ball has produced different skill sets. It seems daft not to make use of them in red. What worries me most is will McCullum and Stoke's successors be able to instil the same single mindedness.
