Gloucestershire have bolstered their ranks with the signing of Australian seamer Andrew Tye for the 2018 T20 Blast.
Tye, who is due to face England in the upcoming one-day international series Down Under, has played for the county before, having taken 18 wickets in 2016.
He will meet up with his new team-mates ahead of the start of the competition, which is due to begin on July 6.
"I’m delighted to sign with Gloucestershire for the T20 Blast," Tye said.
Andrew Tye played for Gloucestershire in 2016
"I enjoyed my time at The Brightside Ground, Bristol, and Cheltenham Festival in 2016 and I’m looking forward to playing in front of the Gloucestershire crowds again.
"With us reaching the quarter finals in 2016, I want to go one step further this summer and make it to Finals Day."
Tye has been in excellent form in the Big Bash over the past month, claiming 16 wickets for the Perth Scorchers.
Gloucestershire head coach Richard Dawson said: "It’s great to have AJ back with us for this year’s T20 competition. It was unfortunate he could not join us last year due to injury but since coming back from his shoulder surgery he has performed exceptionally well earning a call up to the Australian ODI squad against England."
"We are looking forward to him contributing for Gloucestershire this season."
